AI NOTES
Here is a collection of notes on my AI research. Some of this will be cast into AI TOOLS but I imagine a lot of this will eventually end up in its own GPT.
I read some interesting stuff so i asked chat GPT for an
- "easy-to-digest explanation of Kalman filters.".
I had read about them earlier in the day and was intrigued by an idea that I posed in my next question:
- "Can you apply kalman filters to stock market predictions". I also did some basic reading (and signed up for) x.ai's Grok. another Kaman filter link which lead me to this fascinating lecture about Gaussian Processes
Later on I watched a few videos of the new ChatGPT rollout, and saw, as I had thought about earlier, that it included a "Roll Your Own" GPT. I talked to Izak about the idea of uploading the Axis and Allies 1942 Second Edition Game Manual to see if we could query it for live game help about setup and rules and such.
Izak extended further and thought about teaching the Axis and Allies GPT to play games and running simulations so that we could ask it strategy questions. I joked that he could get the "Last PHd in WWII" and we could compare games to actual historical battles and such. That joke about PHd's reminded me of another quote that I saw on twitter:

Next, I will add a funny and an observation. The funny comes from the fact that i have chatGPT installed on my iphone, and also use it on my laptop. the two instances do not talk to eachother, so when I aksed my desktop version what I searched for (to note in this here article) it had NO IDEA WHAT I HAD SEARCHED FOR. This is my main frustration currently with AI chat tools is there is NO MEMORY that crosses instances in either time or platform. Sure, it shows a "history" of queries, but has no way to associate my two separate accounts, or to even remember the CONTEXT of what I am asking.

I then remembered that my search was on my iPhone, and with that remembered, I was able to construct the bulk of this initial article on AI NOTES
Finally, to wrap up this day of getting my job done by 12, I found this tweet about Laplace Transforms and it make me take note to ask Izak about it.
