A mouth shovel is a kitchen/dining utensil used to eat soups, goops, and food that is not eaten with food impalers. The utensils are also known as culprits for unintended splashings in the kitchen when an unsuspecting victim is attempting to wash the mouth shovel but in doing so angles it so that the water pouring down reflects off of the curved surface and soaks them.
