An anti-scurvy pebble is a pill or tablet of (nearly) pure, solid ascorbic acid. These items usually come in bottles as a dietary supplement of ascorbic acid, also known as Vitamin C.
The Scurvy Challenge
A challenge like the "Cinnamon Challenge" can be attempted with these pebbles. The challenge is to eat one pebble by crushing it up as fast as you can in you mouth so it quickly covers the inside of your mouth. Try not to make any faces!
